Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 has finally made its debut in India with its recent launch. Two years ago, Microsoft had launched the Surface Laptop Go- its first laptop from the Go series. This new Surface Laptop Go 2 is said to be the successor and a new addition to the Go family of laptops.
Specification and features:-
Microsoft has made minor changes and adjustments to the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 to make it more user-friendly, but there hasn’t been any significant design modification of any kind. Users may now swap out the trackpad, screen, keyboard, battery, and Surflink cable on the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2. Microsoft hasn’t provided any information regarding its repair and service programme in India, so it’s probable that it won’t be made available at all in this country.
The Surface Laptop Go 2 is powered by an Intel Core i5-1153G7 CPU from the 11th generation. The internal processor is combined with up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. It is powered by a 41WHr battery which is claimed to last up to 13.5 hours give or take. It also comes along with a 39W power adapter for charging the laptop.
The 12.4-inch PixelSense display on the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 has a resolution of 1536 x 1024 pixels and weighs 1.1 kg. Like all other Surface laptops, this one has the Microsoft logo prominently displayed centrally over the cover.
The company claims that it weighs 1.12 KG, making it even lighter than the MacBook Air, which has a weight of 1.24 KG.
Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 will be available in two configurations- 8GB+128GB at Rs.73,999 and 8GB+256GB at Rs.80,999. It even offers four storage configurations at a starting price of Rs.70,990- 4GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 16GB+256GB.
The second-generation Surface Laptop Go has more basic storage than the first one, which addresses the primary criticism users had of the first model. The Surface Laptop Go 2 has 128GB of SSD storage, although it costs a little more—Rs 70,090—than the original, which had 64GB of eMMC storage.
Additionally, the Surface Laptop Go 2’s user-replaceable components address the issue of repairability. In the event that something goes wrong, owners can repair the laptop themselves by replacing the trackpad, keyboard, and even the display.
