Motorola upgraded its Moto E5 Play from Android Nougat to Android Oreo which includes Android Go.
The new E5 Play is one of the first device of Google’s Go. It has a 5.3 inch screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio while the regular E5 play has only a 5.2 inch screen display with 16:9 aspect ratio and 720p resolution. The storage of the phone has 1 GB of RAM and 8GB ROM that can be expanded through the microSD card slot. The battery capacity will have 2800 mAh. The upgraded phone has features which include fingerprint sensor, proximity, accelerometer, ambient light, e-compass, and sensor Hub‡‡. The rear camera has 8 MP and the front-facing camera has 5 MP with a flash for selfies.
The new phone is only available in the UK for now but the company confirmed that it will be available in various countries in Europe and Latin America. The price starts at €109 or $ 127.
