Mozilla’s new file-transfer service will give users an ability to send files with limited size and limited time.

The new Firefox Send has the capability of uploading a file that has 1GB. Users will need to sign-up first to have an account before they can send files. They must select a file that they want to share, then drag and drop it or just click the “Select files to upload” button. When a user already has an account, they can send up to 2.5GB files. The file that has been sent has end-to-end encryption and the link has expiration so that users will keep their privacy safe. The company is assuring users that the private files will do not stay online forever.

The Firefox Send is now available on the web and the company confirmed that the Beta version for Android will be available later this week.
