After successfully launching their mid-range Phone 2a, which aimed to provide users with a Nothing phone at a more accessible price point, fresh leaks suggest that the company may be preparing to release an even more budget-friendly device. Recently, the A015 model number surfaced on Nothing’s official database and has now been listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website.

While the exact name of the phone remains undisclosed, it is confirmed to be a “CMF by Nothing” model. This listing dispels previous rumours that associated the A015 with the Nothing Phone (3). Instead, it seems that Nothing is venturing into the budget segment with this new offering.

CMF by Nothing is a brand that focuses on providing budget-friendly products. Their earphones and watches have already gained popularity in this space, retailing for under Rs 5,000. If Nothing decides to launch a smartphone under the CMF branding, it will mark their first entry into the smartphone market.

Although nothing is confirmed yet, there is speculation that the first CMF phone from Nothing could be priced under Rs 20,000. This prediction is based on the brand’s current product lineup. Initially positioned as a premium brand, Nothing surprised consumers by introducing the Phone 2a in the mid-range segment. Their focus shifted to offering flagship-level software experiences, unique designs, and quality hardware at a more affordable price.
