Queen of Tears, the most buzzworthy show right now retains the #1 spot of Netflix’s Top 10 non-english TV shows for 4 weeks in a row, garnering 4.3 million views this week and counting. Written by Park Ji-eun, co-directed by Jang Young-woo and Kim Hee-won, the South Korean show has taken the internet by storm.

Synopsis

The show portrays crisis and rekindling love between Hong Hae-in, played by Kim Ji-won, who is the heiress of Queens Group, and Baek Hyun-woo, played by Kim Soo-hyun who have been married for three years. The thrilling love between the couple helps them fight against the odds and defy several challenges, as they try their best to stay together through it all.

Kwak Dongyeon as Hong Soocheol, Haein’s younger brother and an executive of the company. The show surprised the netizens with an unexpected cameo of Song Joong Ki in episode 8 who played the role of Haein’s lawyer.
