A report from ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley claims that Microsoft is making major changes to their Surface Pro 6 (under the codename “Carmel” at Microsoft), specifically in unit’s hardware.

Through a source, Foley rounded up the news on Microsoft’s upcoming hardware launches. Along with the Surface Pro 6, the Surface Hub 2 is also slated to ship in 2019. The report also states that a smaller and lower-cost line of Surface tablets are set to launch this fall. A Surface laptop and Surface Pro with the newest Intel eighth-gen processors are also set to arrive this fall. And lastly, Microsoft could be unveiling a dual screen tablet this year.

For some of these reports, we have only a few months to confirm them, so best be on the lookout.
