Samsung announced the possibility of releasing a new feature for Galaxy S10 with
in-display fingerprint sensor.
It seems like the company is planning to reveal the feature that should be released in Galaxy S9 this year, but rumor has it it will launch the in-display fingerprint sensor to the Galaxy S10.
Furthermore, Samsung is apparently enhancing ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor by Samsung which only works with OLED display.
Samsung aims to perfect the tech first before they release it on the market.
In addition to this, the sensor would be developing the capture of the finger of users in 3D while other sensors are in 2D.
The in-display fingerprint sensor will be officially available on January 2019.
