Samsung will host the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) final meeting from May 21 to May 25 in Busan, South Korea for the completion of 5G mobile communication.

Almost 1,500 experts were invited to join the final meeting to decide which technologies will be commercialized in 5G and will be approved by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project in the United States.

The working groups, RAN working groups 1 to 5 will approve the final technologies as well as 5G wireless access for ultra-high speed data transfer, ultra-low latency and reliability. The group will also analyze the radio performance requirement including the 3.5GHz and 28GHz millimeter wave. They will also confirm the testing method for 5G terminals.

Announcement of 5G mobile and tablets will soon be publicized after the approval of 5G.
