At the NOAH Conference in Berlin, Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi revealed the expansion of acquired Jump e-bikes in some European markets in collaboration with the government officials and in cities.

Khosrowshahi said at the conference, “Here in Germany, I am determined to have a better dialogue with cities and various German stakeholders to discuss how we can shape the future of urban mobility together. Uber stands ready to help address some of the biggest challenges facing German cities: tackling air pollution, reducing congestion and increasing access to cleaner transportation solutions,” according to TechCrunch.

The bike-share startup, Jump has been launched in different cities in the US and now the company is planning to release Jump by the end of summer in Europe, specifically Berlin, Germany. The company will also launch Uber Green by this year to get eco-friendly European companies again because many companies in Europe had blacklisted Uber before.

Many taxi-drivers in Germany are against the comeback of the company and they have a rally with a theme “Uber go Home”. The company has not yet released a statement about this issue.
