WhatsApp introduced new features in a blog post, which is similar to other messaging apps that will give more life to the user’s conversation.
WhatsApp has emojis, camera features, status, and animated GIFs, but now, the app includes Stickers which help users to show their feelings that cannot be expressed through words. The app will have sticker packs that are made by the company’s designers and a selection of stickers from other artists. The company confirmed that they will let third-party sticker packs to let designers and developers globally to create their own sticker and share it in the app. The new feature includes a set of APIs and interfaces that will allow creators to make sticker apps that will be added to WhatsApp. Sticker’s creators can publish their sticker app in both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The company confirmed that the release date of the new feature will be over the coming weeks for both Android and iPhone.
