WhatsApp announced the new feature in which users can be able to access group calls for video and voice.
According to a blog post of WhatsApp, the group call feature has its limitation in number of users to make calls. It will have a maximum of four people in a group call, for both voice and video call. A user will start on one-on-one voice or video call first, and then they can add another user by clicking the “add participant” option in the upper right of the screen.
The new feature is the same as the group call feature on Facebook Messenger app. The company added in a blog post “Group calls are always end-to-end encrypted, and we’ve designed calling to work reliably around the world in different network conditions.”
The Group call feature is now available in both iPhone and Android version for the app.
