The discounts on Google’s Pixel 7 lineup are certainly welcome news for anyone looking for a great smartphone at an affordable rate. Recognize these deals on Google’s Pixel 7 lineup if you’ve been looking for a great smartphone at an even discounted rate. The Pixel 7 is now available at Amazon for $499, a $150 discount from the list price. The price of the Pixel 7 Pro has lessened by the exact amount, to $749.
While they are the lowest prices we have seen for either phone, they are only valid if you select “Activate Today.” As per Android Police, you must activate the phone right away on AT&T, Google Fi, Sprint, T-Mobile, or Verizon. If you use a smaller carrier or want to gift a Pixel to someone else, this option might not be the best.
In our evaluation, we chose to give the Pixel 7 a 90 and the Pixel Pro 7 a 92 rating. The Pixel 7 received positive reviews for its updated design, long battery life (nearly 18 hours), improved software features powered by Android 13, and 90Hz display. The Pixel Pro 7, meanwhile, got an even higher rating for its faster processor, superior camera setup (triple camera), and larger display.
The base model’s lack of mmWave 5G support was disappointing, and we felt that Google had not improved overall performance despite using a new Tensor G2 chip. This was especially disappointing since the addition of mmWave 5G support would have made the base model an attractive option for those who wanted to get the latest mobile technology at an affordable price.
Even so, there are many positive aspects of the Pixel 7. The camera technology is excellent, and attributes like audio message transcription are much appreciated. The camera includes an unblurring tool that even works on older photos taken with other devices.
The Pixel 7 Pro’s more extensive showcase, superior camera system, and faster refresh rate might make it worthwhile to choose that device. The Pixel 7 devices, however, lack the power of ever more ridiculously priced Android and iPhone models. Some people might be tempted to hold off until the rumoured Pixel 7a, but that isn’t anticipated until May’s Google I/O.
