This programme offers the consumers the opportunity to get the batteries of their smartphone exchanged. In order to exchange their smartphone, the user will need to visit the nearest authorised Xiaomi service centre and get the battery exchanged. They can also book an appointment in their nearest Xiaomi Store through the Xiaomi Service+ App.
The price of the battery will start from Rs. 499 onwards. Users will have to pay an amount starting from Rs. 499 depending on the smartphone handset one owns.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all those users who are tired of their battery power and drainage, slow charging, aging battery life, sudden dip in battery percentage or any other concerning issue related to their battery, and get it replaced with a fresh and new one at an affordable and pocket-friendly price.
This is a quite off-beat initiative by Xioami but a quite sustainable one, as the damaged batteries will be recycled and reused once again instead of directly discarding it. This will also help consumers save thousands of rupees as well, as they don’t have to purchase an entirely new handset and can use their old handset instead.
