Zoom Releases the Apple TV App for Meetings: How to Use Your iPhone to Begin a Meeting from TV

Zoom has finally released its meetings app for Apple TV, making it even easier to start and join meetings from your TV. The app uses Continuity Camera to connect to your iPhone or iPad, so you can use your phone as a webcam and microphone.

How to Start a Meeting from TV Using iPhone

Here are the steps on how to start a meeting from your TV using iPhone:

  1. Make sure you have the Zoom app installed on your iPhone and signed in to your account.
  2. Open the Zoom app on your Apple TV.
  3. You will be prompted to sign in to your Zoom account. You can either enter your email address and password or use the pairing URL that is displayed on the TV.
  4. Once you are signed in, you will see the Zoom home screen.
  5. To start a meeting, tap the New Meeting button.
  6. Enter the meeting topic and tap Start Meeting.
  7. Your iPhone will now connect to your Apple TV and you will be able to see and hear the other participants in the meeting.

How to Join a Meeting from TV Using iPhone

To join a meeting from your TV using iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Zoom app on your Apple TV.
  2. Tap the Join button.
  3. Enter the meeting ID or link and tap Join.
  4. Your iPhone will now connect to your Apple TV and you will be able to see and hear the other participants in the meeting.
