Google Photos has been a useful platform for sharing media amongst its users, but some have complained about the app’s lack of a Favorites feature. Now, it looks like Google has listened to such feedback and have announced a new favorites album.

Users can add photos to their favorites by tapping on a new star button that will pop up in each picture. Google also has a “like” button in the form of a heart, but only appears in shared photos or full albums, but not unshared, individual photos.
