Instagram now has a new polling option for their Stories: sliding scales featuring emojis. The “emoji slider” lets users ask and answer question with a scale and an emoji sliding along it. You can choose “almost any emoji” to slide for your poll and you will see the average of your friends’ rating and their individual results.
To add the slider on your Story, first choose a slider icon from the sticker tray after you’ve taken a photo or a video. Then place it anywhere on your Story, type down your question, and then choose an emoji for people to use.
The emoji slider is now available on Instagram’s latest update, version 44 on both Google Play and the App Store.
